Editor’s note: We should thank, and be proud of, the pro-Palestinian student protesters who seem to be the main citizens demonstrating a genuine, active conscience. Add to this list Jewish Voice for Peace and we have some role models for those of us who remain silent or even support the ongoing mass murder (genocide) of Palestinians by Zionist Israel. It strikes me as a holocaust against Palestinians — a modern Nakba that the United Nations is helpless to stop due in part to its fatally flawed Charter.

Paris Peace Forum | ASEAN Meeting

This week we had an interview with Dr. Roger Kotila president of the Democratic World Federalists to discuss is participation in the Paris Peace Forum. He went to Paris, France in November where he met with our counterparts to build new partnerships and promote the San Francisco Promise. Also, we had interviews with Dr. Kotila and Fritz Pointer, the Democratic World Federalists’ Vice President. We discuss a meeting we had in October with junior level members of the Association for Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Last, Bob Neumann, board member of the Democratic World Federalists, performs his poem “Boil Down and Down”.

THE SAN fRANCISCO PROMISE

On 1945, the United Nations delegates met in San Francisco and signed the UN Charter. At that point, the leaders expected to review the charter ten-years after it’s inception. The San Francisco Promise is the Democratic World Federalists attempt to complete the promise to review the UN Charter. By reforming the UN we can tackle the serious problems humanity faces. We can’t solve these problems as individuals or as nations, we can only fix them by coming together as a human society.

GIVE IT A CHANCE

We must give the world federalism a chance if we wish to solve the global problems we face. Economics, Healthcare, War, Terrorism, Nation Rights, Human Rights, Human Advancement. We can only advance the human race by working together as one people in one world — The Earth. Our mother and home. Let the story of our lives be freedom, hope, and justice for all people.
