Thou Shalt Not Kill

If warring is most likely to wreck our civilization,
long before warming or earth deep pollution, etc.
Then we need a more peaceful way of handling conflicts!
Here is a Neumann solution to a NEAR war situation.
Ideally, a world government would send unarmed,
drafted, sixty year olds by the 100,000,
to talk, march, aid, listen — unarmed.
Aim to persuade the defiant and refuseniks
in the name of world law and peace.
? A world government ?

Cap the “my tribe” sovereignty of 193+ nations with
a system of universal, enforceable laws!
If and when the old, feared shooting starts —
than a world army provides a moving,
living fortress around the peace warriors.
This separate over-armed military shoots back,
in the hideous, old traditions of killing;
plus isolating the warring from receiving
arms, money, aid or foreign warriors.
The world armies — like good policemen —
use only the minimum of force
— water cannons, tear gas — first.
When the shooting halts, even for half a day,
the old peace warriors nobly step forth
to again persuade by talk and action.
Only the old Warriors peacefully attack.
Both led by diplomats, not generals
to obtain a compromised solution!
